IBM reduced their package to 2.9 for the 2008 passout batch and they are also taking another round of elimination test. You can add that here.

Hey, this list is really nice and helpful but don’t you think you should focus on other branches too and not only Engineering. Ok , this is my suggestion try adding banking jobs and other sectors like BPOs, it will be really good.

I hv heard dat TCS has offered 3.8 lacs p.a. to the freshers joining in 2008 & 2009 batch will be getting 4.2 lacs p.a.

absolute list for anyone who is intending to gather information about freshers pay package

thoughtworks is giving 5.2 lacs p.a. and hp(research and development division) is giving 4.75 L

WIPRO pays 2.75 - 3.25 depending on performance in training … I got campus recruited in wipro on 12 feb 2008 (in 3rd year) … and it is calling in feb 2009 (tentatively) ….

Sapient pays 3.57 in training …. 4.0 after training …. It is calling in april 2009 ….

Deshaw package is nw 11.0 lks p a

I joined Tcs in jan 2008. My package is 2.36. The package for those who joined after june(juniors) is 3.16(same grade college). They refused to hike our salary to be in par with our juniors. Also those who completed 1 yr in tcs before march 2008 got 3.8 package . But those who are completing one year after march 2008 are getting only 3.4 package . TCS SUCKS ! Only the managers get all the money in TCS !

Evalueserve: for IITians: 4.5 lacs

For Non iitians tier 2 like PEC, Panjab University (UIET), Thapar, NITs , RECS: 3 lacs

for tier 3 like amity : 2.5 lacs

Thanks for such a wonderful info. I have a quick question though… do u get these kinds of salaries if u do SAP from simens only?? there are a lot of institutions in ahmedabad where they teach u SAP at a far cheaper price. Is that certificate not valid? dont u get goods jobs from there??

CSC package was 3.57 for b-tech and 3.75 for m-tech
