Age limit : Must have completed 18 (Eighteen) years of age and must not have completed 35(Thirtyfive) years of age as on 01-01-2009 with usual relaxation to SC/ST/OBC.
Qualifications: A Degree in Engineering (Civil) of a recognised University or its equivalent. Proficiency in CAD, STADD Software desirable.
NOTE 1:
(i) The above vacancies are now in existence. An OMR test will be conducted as the first step of selection. A Short List by including 100 candidates in the Main List with necessary Supplementary Lists will be published based on the marks secured in the OMR test. The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in pursuance to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the list will not continue to be in force if a new Ranked List after the minimum period of one year is published. Candidates will be advised against the vacancies shown above and for all the vacancies reported during the period of pendency of the Ranked List.
(ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of his/her probation or 240 days from the date of his/her joining duty whichever is earlier.
NOTE 2: (i) The relaxation of age to the extent of their service in the Board shall be allowed for the regular employees of the Board who apply to the Kerala Public Service Commission for Direct Recruitment to the post if they possess the other qualification prescribed for the post. The ex-servicemen are also eligible for the relaxation of age.
